how to make pizza scone

This week we made pizza scones they were delicious.
Here is the recipe:

  Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons of butter (30g)
2/3 cup of milk
4 teaspoons of baking powder

filling options: pick three or four 
1/2 cup grated cheese
2 tablespoons crushed pineapple - drained
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1 tablespoon small onion finely chopped



Preheat oven to bake 220 degrees

method :


  1. sift the dry ingredients into a bowl.
  2. rub the butter in with fingertips till it resembles fine breadcrumbs 
  3. add the milk and mix into the dough
  4. knead the dough five times on a lightly floured board so the dough doesn't stick 
  5. Roll the dough out into a big rectangle about 1-2 cm thick.
  6. mix together thoroughly selected ingredients in a small bowl

    1. spread the filling mix over the scone dough rectangle. when it's all covered in the spread roll it up. starting at the wide end cut into slices about three cm thick    place cut side down on baking paper on the oven tray glaze with milk and bake at 220 degrees for about ten minutes. take them off tray and put them on the cooling rack
